Pierre Jahan’s (1909-2003) photographs, his nudes, surrealistic shots and documentaries on the Liberation of Paris have truly marked the history of photography. Many books have been published on his works. As a photographer and illustrator, in the 50s Pierre Jahan also did photographic compositions, perfectly highlighting aesthetics of transparent crystal manufactured by Daum. Through a selection of fifty photos, archived documents and glassware, this exhibition presents the story of an original collaboration between an artist-photographer and a glassworks.

Exhibition inscrite to the program of the 6th photographic biennial event of Conches and organized with the support of the museum of the fine arts of Nancy, the IMEC - Abbaye d'Ardennes and the gallery Choses et Autres Choses, Paris.
