30 years of innovation at CERFAV

Conference on 30 years of innovation at CERFAV, European center for research and training in glass arts, by Anne Pluymakers, Head of the Culture Department at CERFAV, Thursday October 17 at 6 p.m.

CERFAV

In a small town on the edge of the Grand Est region, a unique establishment has developed, now renowned throughout Europe! In the old glassmaking city of Vannes-le-Châtel, while a centuries-old activity was crumbling under the battering rams of the economy, an original establishment was born in 1991.
A surprising project, not only to preserve the memory and techniques of ancestral know-how, but to amalgamate them, to merge them in a new dimension, where research, creativity and culture blow a new wind.
An athanor, where transmissions and innovations, exchanges and research are combined. A melting pot of all possibilities!
Discover its history, its achievements, its projects... fueled by the fire of know-how, inventiveness and a constantly renewed culture.
