An eclipse of the object
An eclipse of the object, conference by Jean Sibertin-Blanc, designer
This conference was initially scheduled for Thursday, September 19
We are moving from the cult of the object to the cult of experience.
In an increasingly dense environment, it is no longer so much a question of designing the project, finding the right material or knowing how to make it, it becomes essential to embrace the environment in which the project will take shape, find its meaning. New islands are being invented. Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc will put into perspective 30 years of projects carried out for brands, manufacturers, with artisans, artists, for institutions, with Galleries.
JBSB will illustrate the evolution of the designer's role through his experiences as a designer, artistic director, researcher, teacher, around the 5 themes that are at the heart of his work: Draw, Make, Travel, Touch, Share.
