Josepha Gasch-Muche

It was only after practicing drawing, painting and engraving that the German artist Josepha Gasch-Muche turned to the field of glass by creating wall works, and sometimes sculptures, made of glass strips assembled together, whose inclination promotes the propagation of light and the appearance of geometric shapes in perspective.

Propelled to the forefront of the contemporary glass scene by winning the First Prize of Coburg in 2006, then the Silver Prize of the Kanazawa Glass Exhibition in 2007, the works of Josepha Gasch-Muche have since been the subject of major international exhibitions. In Conches, she presents in the chapel of the François Décorchemont glass museum her first solo exhibition in France.
