Isabelle Monod and the revival of glass in France

During the 1970s, the Biot glassworks encouraged the emergence of a generation of artists who renewed the art of French glassmaking. In their small personal workshops, these glassmakers empirically rediscovered the different hot glass techniques to create unique pieces. Among these creators, Isabelle Monod holds a special place. In a few years, she evolved her work towards the field of glass sculpture.
